A new gathering in Madrid united religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark the World Day EU Values for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when rooted in respect for human rights.
